The Computing Research Association (CRA) Computing Consortium Community (CCC) has released our Quadrennial Paper research policy brief "Imagine All the People: Citizen Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Computational Research“ (with Lea A. Shanley, Lucy Fortson, Tanya Berger-Wolf & Pietro Michelucci). The main takeaway is that human-machine partnership, including the "many humans - many machines" version, is the big research focus at the intersection of participatory science and computing, with AI as the enabler.
