As announced at ICIS 2013 in December 2013, my paper with Mary Beth Watson-Manheim and Katherine M. Chudoba (Perceived discontinuities and constructed continuities in virtual work, Information Systems Journal, Volume 22, Issue 1, 29-52) was selected as one the best published information systems papers of 2012.
Presentation at the National Academy of Science
I was invited to give a response to two papers on "Technology and Design for Team Science" in the Workshop on Institutional and Organizational Supports for Team Science, part of the National Academies consensus study on the science of team science. ICPSR challenge grant for research data management
Jian Qin and I were awarded one of four one-year challenge grants from ICPSR's Sloan-funded project on "Building Community Engagement in Data Citation and Open Access to Data," to support innovative research on topics related to the management and stewardship of research data (see the press release here).
