I was invited to give a response to two papers on "Technology and Design for Team Science" in the Workshop on Institutional and Organizational Supports for Team Science, part of the National Academies consensus study on the science of team science.
Jian Qin and I were awarded one of four one-year challenge grants from ICPSR's Sloan-funded project on "Building Community Engagement in Data Citation and Open Access to Data," to support innovative research on topics related to the management and stewardship of research data (see the press release here).

The Digital & Social Media track of the Hawai'i International Conference on System Science (HICS) is a convening platform for researchers to share and discuss their cutting-edge research on digital and social media. Defined in a broad sense, digital media are digitized content (text, graphics, audio/video) that can be archived and transmitted over multiple networks such as cable, satellite, telecommunications, and broadband networks to a variety of digital devices from mainframe systems to individual smart phones.
